Board Certified Behvior Analyst (BCBA)
Position Description
Responsibilities:

Assessment and Program Development:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments (e.g., ABLLS, VB-MAPP, AFLS).
- Develop individualized ABA programs and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to clients' needs.

Program Implementation and Oversight:
- Supervise and guide Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Behavior Program Assistants (BPAs) in implementing treatment plans.
- Conduct regular observations and quality checks to ensure program adherence.
- Update treatment plans and goals based on data, progress, and client needs.

Training and Support:
- Train RBTs, caregivers, and other stakeholders on ABA principles and strategies.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to enhance their skills.
- Work closely with other professionals (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators) to coordinate care.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data on client progress.
- Monitor program outcomes to ensure efficacy and compliance with clinical standards.
- Prepare detailed progress reports and communicate findings to families, stakeholders, and funding sources.

Client and Family Collaboration:
-Build rapport and collaborate with families to incorporate ABA strategies into daily routines and environments.
- Provide support and resources to families as they navigate treatment.

Professional Development:
- Stay current with research, trends, and advancements in the field of ABA.
- Attend professional development opportunities, workshops, and conferences.
- Participate in peer review, mentorship, and supervision to continuously improve professional practice.
Requirements:

Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field

Current BCBA certification in good standing

Minimum of 4 years of experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges (preferred)

Experience conducting FBAs and report writing

Strong knowledge of ABA principles, data collection, and behavior modification techniques

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to train and supervise RBTs or other team members
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and familiarity with ABA EHR systems
-
Bilingual in Vietnamese or Spanish (preferred)
-
Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensure requirements (if applicable)

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Physical ability to support clients as needed (e.g., kneeling, bending)
